Toyota Opens a Mini-Showroom for its Mirai Fuel-Cell Car
Toyota Motor Corp. will open a small showroom in Tokyo at the end of this week to showcase its Mirai fuel cell-powered sedan, offer test drives and play videos about fuel cell technology.
Toyota Motor Corp. will open a small showroom in Tokyo at the end of this week to showcase its Mirai fuel cell-powered sedan, offer test drives and play videos about fuel cell technology.
The two-floor, 1,800-sq-ft showroom will be housed within a hydrogen fueling station operated by Iwatani Corp. Toyota will display one Mirai and offer public test drives of a second car on Fridays.
Toyota introduced the Mirai in Japan in mid-December 2014. The company expects to sell 400 of the 7.2 million-yen ($60,000) cars in Japan this year.
