Renault SA plans to begin testing a fleet of partially automated Zoe electric cars in Wuhan, China, next month. The company has offered no details about the scope of the project.

The five-door superminis will demonstrate advanced driver assistance systems Renault unveiled in the Zoe Next Two prototype vehicle in 2013, according to Automotive News China. The system can operate autonomously within its lane on car-exclusive roads at speeds below 30 kph (19 mph). The Next Two also can park itself automatically.

The Zoe has a 400-km (250-mile) range. Renault, which describes the car as Europe’s best-selling electric, has sold 100,000 EVs since it introduced its first model five years ago.
