About this Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordinator to join our Events Team and contribute to the success of our industry-leading events. Gardner manages an annual portfolio of 10–12 events, including tradeshows, conferences, workshops, and corporate receptions. The Event Coordinator will oversee multiple events across various manufacturing markets, requiring strong multitasking abilities, travel flexibility, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in the planning and execution of a suite of events, including conferences, meetings, and tradeshows
  • Traveling to events as required
  • Coordinating and collecting speaker and agenda materials before, during, and after events
  • Managing vendor relationships, including audiovisual, catering, contractors, venues, entertainment, and security
  • Building and maintaining event registration platforms
  • Managing event-related website content and updates
  • Ensuring smooth onsite event execution
  • Handling contracts and data entry
  • Managing sponsorships and/or exhibits, including customer service support
  • Performing general administrative tasks

Event Coordinator Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in event planning or marketing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills a plus
  • Experience with website builders is a plus
  • Familiarity with event registration software preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of an event team
