Ford Motor Co. says it is cooperating with German authorities in their investigation into the emission controls for its 2.0-liter diesel-powered Mondeo sport sedan.
The carmaker says there is nothing illegal or deceptive about its system. Ford’s statement follows a report by German business magazine WirtschaftsWoche that says Germany’s KBA motor authority is reviewing suspicious emission test data.
