The commission offers no details except to say Xu, 62, is suspected of having "seriously violated" the party's rules and the law, according to AN.
The newspaper notes that several lower-level managers at FAW have been investigated for taking bribes. It says Xu is the highest-ranking auto industry executive targeted to date.
