The group was announced earlier today by the China Society of Automotive Engineers during an automotive technology forum in Changchun, Shanghai Daily reports.
The panel will be headed by Li Jun, technical chief of FAW Group and a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. The newspaper offers no other details.
