BMW AG says its new digital display system is easier to use and allows for greater customization than its current system.
Users can change display settings via their car’s iDrive toggle or through the touchscreen, voice actuation and gesture controls. The operating system enables drivers to select 10 configurable main menu pages and multiple driving modes.
BMW says the system provides access to more information in a clear and organized format. Key information, such a navigation map, is highlighted in the center screen as its being used. Operators can choose where and what other information to display.
