Strong storms that swept through the Midwest on Sunday damaged Subaru's assembly plant in Lafayette, Ind., and halted production on Monday, Automotive News reports.
The company says a tornado may have been responsible for damaging the factory's roof, breaking glass and inflicting water damage inside.
Subaru expects the plant which makes Outback wagons, Legacy sedans and Tribeca crossovers to resume production no later than Wednesday.
