Volkswagen Group’s SEAT brand and IBM Corp. are collaborating on a smartphone app that helps users employ multiple transport modes to navigate through urban areas.
Dubbed Mobility Adviser, the app would use IBM’s Watson artificial intelligence system, SEAT President Luca de Meo tells Bloomberg News.
There is no targeted release date for the feature. SEAT also is studying whether to present Mobility Adviser as a stand-alone item, integrate it with other SEAT software or offer the app to third parties, Bloomberg reports.RELATED CONTENT
