Rolls-Royce Customers Just Say “No” to Diesels
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd. customers are not impressed with diesel engines and say they would "absolutely not" consider buying one in a Rolls, according to Autocar, which cites an unnamed source within the company. The source also tells Autocar that Rolls-Royce, a unit of BMW AG, "can't imagine" following other ultra-luxury-car makers in offering an SUV model. "We don't chase volume," the source sniffs, "so we're not looking for a volume creator."
