Ford Motor Co.’s is expanding the “Lincoln Chauffeur” pilot program for its luxury brand to San Diego after launching the ride service last month in Miami.

The service, which costs $30 an hour, allows Lincoln owners to summon a chauffeur via a smartphone app to drive them around in their own vehicle. Lincoln says customers have been using the service for dinner dates and doctor appointments.

The chauffeurs also can be used to run errands, such as getting gasoline, groceries or picking up children from school.

Last September Lincoln launched a pickup and delivery service that is now offered with all of its 2017 model vehicles. More than 15,000 rides were completed in the first three months of the program, according to the carmaker.

And while on the subject of the exterior, there are some notable changes—a lower, remodeled hood, repositioned hood vents, new upper and lower front grilles, LED front lights, revised LED taillamps, new rear bumper and fascia.
