GM expects to complete a $14 million r&d facility in San Francisco for the company that will more than double its existing research space by the end of this year. The companies are testing several dozen autonomous Chevrolet Bolt electric sedans on public roadways in metro Detroit; San Francisco; and Scottsdale, Ariz.
