Engineering specialist Segula Technologies SA has acquired Activetech, a plastics processing company for interior and electronic components.
Both companies are based in France. Terms of the deal weren’t announced.
Activetech makes dashboards, door panels, center consoles, seat housings, electronic circuit systems and 3D prototype parts. The company has facilities in Lyon, France; and Casablanca, Morocco.
Segula, which was formed in 1985, has made several acquisitions and expanded its global operations over the last 18 months. Recent investments and partnerships include deals with Applied Technology Integration, Eicher Engineering Solutions, EK Design, ESG Mobility and Technicon Design.
In addition to automotive, Segula has clients in the aerospace, energy, naval, petrochemical, pharmaceutical and rail industries. The company, which employs 11,000 people at 140 facilities in 28 countries, aims to hire 4,600 people this year.
