Ford Sells Most of Former Plant Site in Wixom
Ford Motor Co. has sold 239 acres in Wixom, Mich. nearly 85% of the company's former assembly plant site there to developer Trident Barrow Management LLC.
Ford Motor Co. has sold 239 acres in Wixom, Mich. nearly 85% of the company's former assembly plant site there to developer Trident Barrow Management LLC. The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal.
Ford, which ended car production at the facility in 2007, says it is in talks with a potential buyer about the remaining 45 acres. The company plans to retain a separate 32-acre landfill parcel adjacent to the factory property.
