Ford Expands Diesel Capacity in U.K.
Ford Motor Co. is spending 390 million (€492 million) to complete an expansion of clean-diesel capacity at its factory in Dagenham, England.
Ford Motor Co. is spending 390 million (€492 million) to complete an expansion of clean-diesel capacity at its factory in Dagenham, England.
The investment complements 287 million (€362 million) already spent at the plant for the new-engine program.
Next year Dagenham will begin making a new line of diesels for commercial vehicles at an annual rate of 350,000 units. Ford plans to add production in 2017 of an additional 150,000 clean diesel for passenger vehicles there.
