FEV to Expand Auburn Hills Tech Center

Germany’s FEV GmbH is adding a vehicle testing center at its Auburn Hills, Mich., complex.
The $27 million expansion will add 250 jobs and increase FEV’s Michigan workforce by 50%, The Detroit News reports. The new facility will focus on fuel efficiency and emissions testing for both conventionally powered and hybrid-electric vehicles.
Exterior construction of the test center is expected to be completed by year-end. FEV says the facility will be fully operational in the second quarter of 2018.
