FCA Partners with Two European Utilities on EV Charging
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has signed deals with multinational electric utilities Enel in Italy and Engie in France to set up charging stations for electric vehicles across Europe.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV has signed deals with multinational electric utilities Enel in Italy and Engie in France to set up charging stations for electric vehicles across Europe.
FCA, a latecomer to vehicle electrification, is preparing to introduce a battery-powered version of its Fiat 500 minicar and a plugin edition of the Jeep Renegade SUV.
Enel will support FCA in Italy, Spain and Portugal. Engie will work with the company in 14 other European markets. FCA plans to install some 700 charging points at its facilities in Europe over the next two years.
The program will give buyers of FCA’s electrified vehicles the option of having a charging port installed at their homes. The carmaker and its partners also will develop apps that help EV owners locate public charging stations and pay for services.
