Dassault Systemes' acquisition of Apriso Corp. rounds out the company's DELMIA manufacturing modeling and supply chain simulation products with the ability to manage shop floor operations on a global scale.

The result, says Fred Thomas, DELMIA Apriso industry director at Dassault, is a closed-loop solution for manufacturing that can feed back actual manufacturing performance results to the modeling process.
