Last August VW began offering such owners rebates worth as much as €10,000 ($12,300). The scheme has applied to the company’s Audi, Porsche, Skoda and VW brands in Germany.
The original plan was to expire at the end of 2017 but was extended through March. A source tells Automotive News Europe that a decision on a further continuation could come as soon as March 15.
