Jon Wagner, director of battery engineering at Tesla Inc., has left the company to launch his own battery and powertrain startup, Reuters reports.
Jon Wagner, director of battery engineering at Tesla Inc., has left the company to launch his own battery and powertrain startup, Reuters reports.
Wagner joined the electric car maker in 2013 and was involved in developing the battery systems used in Tesla cars and its Powerwall stationary energy storage system.
Tesla’s overall head of battery technology, Kurt Kelty, left the company in July.
