Earlier this month Tesla signed a deal to install more than 40 charging stations at properties in China owned by Yantai Holdings Co. Tesla also has opened three of its high-power Supercharger facilities in Beijing and Shanghai.

Tesla began selling its 734,000-yuan ($121,400) Model S cars in China in April. The company hasn't revealed its sales goals for the country.
