Renault SA has formed a consulting service to help fleet operators convert to electrified vehicles.
The Mobility Consulting team will analyze fleet usage and driving data, then recommend the most efficient and cost-effective level of electrification. Renault says it also will work with customers to set up charging stations.
By 2022, Renault plans to offer eight all-electric models and 12 plug-in hybrid vehicles. The carmaker, which introduced its first EV 10 years ago, currently offers four all-electric models. The company also manages 1,000 charging points at its own facilities and has helped install fast-charging public networks across Europe.
