PSA Opens $627 Million Assembly Plant in Morocco
PSA Group has officially opened a €555 million ($627 million) assembly plant near Rabat, Morocco.
PSA Group has officially opened a €555 million ($627 million) assembly plant in Kenitra, Morocco.

The factory aims for annual output of 100,000 cars next year and as many as 200,000 units by 2023.
Output will begin with the Peugeot 208, a small five-door hatch also built in Trnava, Slovakia. The company says the new plant will supply cars to 80 markets.
Morocco also hosts two assembly plants operated by Renault. The country said last year it intends to expand its carmaking capacity to 1 million units by 2025.
