Kia Motors Corp. hopes to alleviate its North American capacity jam by investing in a $1 billion assembly plant in Pesqueria, Mexico. Projected production launch is 2016 and capacity should reach 300,000 units. Current speculation is the plant will focus on Rio, Soul and Forte production, at least at first. (WardsAuto)
