JCI Partners with Lawrence Tech on Battery Research
Johnson Controls Inc. says its new partnership with Southfield, Mich.-based Lawrence Technological University will find and validate new vehicle battery systems.

Johnson Controls Inc. says its new partnership with Southfield, Mich.-based Lawrence Technological University will find and validate new vehicle battery systems.
JCI will donate advanced test equipment and assign technical resources to the Southfield, Mich.-based university. The partners did not reveal the amount of the investment.
LTU says it will contribute its expertise in energy storage systems, electrification and modeling, simulation and testing. The university describe the JCI partnership as part of its effort to tailor market-based academic and research program for its corporate partners.
