JCI Exec Kesseler Named COO at Tenneco
Tenneco Inc. has chosen Brian Kesseler, currently president of Johnson Controls Inc.'s Power Solutions starter-battery division, to become its chief operating officer, effective Jan. 12.
Tenneco Inc. has chosen Brian Kesseler, currently president of Johnson Controls Inc.'s Power Solutions starter-battery division, to become its chief operating officer, effective Jan. 12.
The 48-year-old Kesseler is a 20-year veteran at JCI. He took over leadership of the company's $6 billion lead-acid battery business in 2013.
Kesseler will succeed Hari Nair, 55, who plans to retire on March 31 after four years as COO. Nair also is stepping down from Tenneco's board, effective immediately.
