Honda to Show Automated Commuter EV Concept at CES
Next month Honda Motor Co. will use the CES event in Las Vegas to unveil a concept automated commuter vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence.

Honda Motor Co. will unveil a concept automated commuter vehicle equipped with artificial intelligence in January at the CES consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.
Dubbed the NeuV, the all-electric concept features technology that allows machines to recognize and react to a driver’s emotions. Honda is developing the so-called “emotion engine” system with Japan’s SoftBank Corp. and its Cocoro subsidiary.
As part of its “Cooperative Mobility Ecosystem” theme at the consumer electronics show, Honda also plans to announce several initiatives with startup companies and other new partnerships. Yoshiyuki Matsumoto, who heads the carmaker’s research and development organization, will give a presentation and unveil a concept motorcycle with robotic applications.
