GM Confirms Cost to Close Bochum Plant
General Motors Co. President Dan Ammann tells Reuters the company will spend €635 million to close its Opel assembly plant in Bochum, Germany.
General Motors Co. President Dan Ammann tells Reuters the company will spend €635 million to close its Opel assembly plant in Bochum, Germany.
Ammann says GM has already booked €280 million of the cost and will take the remaining €355 million by the end of this year.
GM announced two years ago it would close the plant in 2016 when the current-model Zafira minivan made there is replaced.
