Ford Motor Co.'s Ford Otosan venture with Koc Holding AS in Turkey has suspended one shift of assembly work because labor unrest in the country has created supply chain problems, Reuters reports.
The facility makes the Transit and Courier vans.
Labor protests halted operations earlier this week at the factory and at Fiat's Tofas venture. The two plants account for more than 40% of Turkey's vehicle capacity.
