China’s DiDi Chuxing Technology Co. has begun offering its ride-hailing service in Chile and Colombia as it pushes into Latin America.

The news service says DiDi’s push into Latin America aims to compete with U.S.-based rival Uber Technologies Inc. DiDi won that contest in China in 2016, when it acquired Uber’s business there.
