Canada’s Unifor union says its members have ended a strike against Magna International Inc.’s Integram Windsor Seating unit after reaching a new tentative contract deal.
The walkout threatened to disrupt production at General Motors and Fiat Chrysler Automobile minivan and SUV assembly plants in Ontario.
On Sunday workers rejected an initial contract deal by a 58% margin and promptly struck Integram, which supplies seats and seat cushions on a just-in-time basis.
