Toyota Motor Corp. is adding the high-volume Camry sedan to its 2020-model lineup in the U.S. that are getting Google Inc.’s Android Auto smartphone connectivity system.

Toyota is one of the last carmakers to partner with Google and Apple Inc. on the technology, which allows a smartphone’s apps to be operated through a vehicle’s infotainment system. Last year, Toyota began offering Apple CarPlay in most 2019 models—including the Camry—and some 2018 retrofit applications.

Shortly thereafter, the carmaker announced plans to add Android Auto on select 2020 models. But the Camry wasn’t on the original list.
