Bratislava-based Hospodarske Noviny had reported that BMW is choosing between erecting a factory in eastern Slovakia or Mexico to make electric vehicles. The business daily says the company is asking the Slovak government for financial incentives.
Kia, PSA Peugeot Citroen and Volkswagen have assembly plants in Slovakia.
