The digital preview of the 2015 Mustang shows a front end design previously revealed in spy photography, accompanied by rear views based on the CAD images. The illustrations depict distinctively louvered tail lights, a central triangular-framed reverse/light- in the lower rear bumper and two rear Euro-spec fog lamps just above the exhaust tips.
The renderings indicate a sleeker overall silhouette with an angled fastback rear roofline which extends deeper into the trunk lid and a slightly rounded rear valence to give the car a sportier appearance.
The 2015 Mustang, which is expected to go on sale next spring, will replace the current solid rear axle with a better-handling independent rear suspension. Engines slated for the new pony car include 2.7-liter and 3.0-liter V-6s and perhaps a 4-cylinder turbocharged mill that makes as much as 320 hp.
