Large Part Production Machining.
A new five-axis production milling and turning center, the CP 8000, has been developed by Heller Machine Tools (heller-us.com) to handle large parts, as it handles pallets measuring 800 x 800 mm and has a work envelope of 1,250 x 1,250 x 1,400 mm (X, Y, Z). The maximum loading capacity is 2,000 kg, and the machine features a system that uses drive-internal signals to determine whether there is imbalance in the workpiece or rotary table and then makes adjustments to correct it.
