Intel Corp. has been supplying the auto industry with computer chips and software for many years. Now the company is expanding its automotive presence into vehicle safety systems, connectivity services and automated driving technologies.
Growth in these areas has spawned a new Intel unit called the Automated Driving Solutions Division. The global group is headed by former Delphi Automotive executive Kathy Winter. She describes the division’s mission in this video.
