GM to Invest $45 Million in Michigan Logistics Center

General Motors Co. plans to spend $45 million to erect a logistics facility next to its Grand River assembly plant in Lansing, Mich.
GM aims to open the center late next year and employ 200 people there, some of them new hires.
Those workers will assemble and sequence parts for the nearby factory, which builds the Cadillac ATS compact sedan and CTS midsize cars. The factory will add production of the next-generation Chevrolet Camaro sport coupe and convertible by early 2016
