Kia Reaches Tentative Labor Pact in Korea

Kia Motors Corp. has reached a tentative one-year pay agreement with its unionized workers in South Korea.
The company says the package would increase monthly base wages for some 28,800 hourly workers by 45,000 won ($40), provide a bonus equal to 250% of base annual pay and increase additional annual compensation by 2.8 million won ($2,500).
The company’s union members are scheduled to vote on the deal on Monday.
