JLR Taps BlackBerry for Cybersecurity, AI Tech
BlackBerry Ltd. is expanding its one-year-old relationship with Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. to include artificial intelligence, machine learning and cyber security technology for next-generation vehicles.
BlackBerry Ltd. is expanding its one-year-old relationship with Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. to include artificial intelligence, machine learning and cyber security technology for next-generation vehicles.
Under the agreement, BlackBerry will provide consulting services and test connected and autonomous vehicle software for vulnerabilities. Other possible applications include predictive software maintenance, according to the partners.
Last year, BlackBerry won a contract to supply infotainment system technologies to JLR.
