Keller, who also managed Tesla’s infotainment technology, joined the electric car company in 2016 from Advanced Micro Devices Inc. He has been succeeded by Peter Bannon, a former manager of chip development at Apple Inc., who also was hired on at Tesla two years ago.
Sources tell The Wall Street Journal that Keller is moving to chipmaker Intel Corp. He is the latest among several senior managers to exit Tesla in the past year. Others have included the company’s chief financial officer and head of sales.
