General Motors Co. says it will lay out its “vision for an autonomous future” on Nov. 30 during an investor event in San Francisco.
CEO Mary Barra referenced the presentation, which will be webcast live, in passing during GM’s third-quarter earnings report. She also used the occasion to declare the company is “committed to an all-electric future.”
The company has revealed no details. But it says presentation materials will be posted HERE on the company’s investor relations website shortly before the event, which will begin at noon EST.
GM’s presentation will follow one made by Ford Motor Co. CEO Jim Hackett last month that left Wall Street underwhelmed. Analysts complained that Hackett raised impressive objectives for the carmaker, but he didn’t explain how Ford would achieve them.
