General Motors Co.'s South Korean unit has reached a tentative agreement with its unions that includes a raise in base pay and 8 million won ($5,750) in bonuses to each worker.
The parties agreed to test new work schedules to address union objections to overnight shifts. GM Korea workers had staged a series of mini-strikes in July and August.
The GM settlement leaves Korean auto giants Hyundai and affiliate Kia Motors as the remaining carmakers in the country still embroiled in contentious labor talks. Hyundai workers in mid-July held their first walkout in four years.
