The $33,100 MKC, which shares its platform with the Ford Escape crossover, went on sale in May. The vehicle is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that makes 240 hp and has a fuel economy rating of 20 mpg city/29 mpg highway.
An optional 2.3-liter engine makes 285 hp and is available only with all-wheel drive.
