Sean Thornton has been appointed to succeed her, Automotive News reports. Thornton previously held several executive positions with Cadillac, including senior manager of the brand’s international operations, national advertising manager in the U.S. and chief of staff to former Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen.
Lee joined GM in 2012 as Cadillac’s marketing director. She launched the brand’s “Dare Greatly” campaign and in early 2017 helped create Book by Cadillac, which gives customers on-demand access to several of the luxury brand’s vehicles for a flat monthly fee. She was appointed global director of the subscription service last November.
