Cummins Buys Navistar Stake in China JV
Cummins Inc. has bought Navistar International Corp.’s half of the JAC-Navistar Diesel Engine Co. the company operated with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. (JAC Motors) in China.
Cummins Inc. has bought Navistar International Corp.’s half of the JAC-Navistar Diesel Engine Co. the company operated with Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Co. (JAC Motors) in China.
Immediately following the acquisition, Cummins and JAC formed a new venture that will continue to operate at JAC-Navistar’s manufacturing facility in Hefei. Cummins supplies light-duty, mid-range and heavy-duty diesel engines to JAC in China.
