ZF Friedrichshafen AG is building a manufacturing plant in Poland to make driver-assist cameras and other advanced safety devices.
The 10,000 sq-meter (107,600 sq-ft) factory in Czestochowa is scheduled to open at the end of 2019 and eventually will employ more than 300 people. ZF says the facility will support all the company’s active and passive safety product lines with offices and electronics labs.
The company already operates an electronics engineering center in Czestochowa that employs 350 people. Last October ZF opened another such development facility in Lodz, Poland, for 200 engineers and technicians.
