VW Names New Sales Chief for N. America
Volkswagen AG has appointed Werner Eichhorn to take over as its top sales and marketing officer in North America, effective Sept. 1. He will report to Hinrich Woebcken, CEO of the North American region.

Volkswagen AG has appointed Werner Eichhorn to take over as its top sales and marketing officer in North America, effective Sept. 1. He will report to Hinrich Woebcken, CEO of the North American region.
Eichhorn, 54, joined VW in 1979. Most recently he headed sales and marketing for VW’s Skoda brand. Previous jobs included head of sales and marketing for the group’s VW brand in Germany and Audi brand in China.
Succeeding Eichhorn at Skoda on Sept. 1 will be Alain Favey. The 50-year-old Favey joined VW from Citroen in 2009 to become head of European sales. His current assignment is CEO of European distributor Porsche Holding Salzburg GmbH.
