Sproule Named Aston Martin’s Chief for Americas
Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. has named Simon Sproule, the company’s global chief marketing officer, to the additional position of head of the Americas.

Aston Martin Lagonda Ltd. has named Simon Sproule, the company’s global chief marketing officer, to the additional position of head of the Americas. He added the new assignment on Aug. 1, Automotive News reports.
Sproule succeeds Michael Kerr, who continues as the company’s chief human resources officer. Kerr also is now chief of Aston Martin’s Asian region. AN notes that half of the company’s 12-member executive board hold similar regional leader positions.
Sproule headed public relations for Microsoft, Nissan, the Renault-Nissan alliance and Tesla before joining Aston Martin in November 2014. He will split his time between Aston Martin headquarters in Gaydon, England, and the company’s Americas office in Irvine, Calif. North and South America constitute the brand’s largest customer base.
