Volkswagen AG's Martorell, Spain-based SEAT unit has named Andreas Offermann as executive committee member for sales and marketing, starting on Sept. 1.
He replaces Paul Sevin, who will continue to work for VW as a consultant. Offermann has been global coordinator of VW Group's national sales companies since 2011. He previously headed Porsche sales operations.
Offermann's appointment continues a reshuffling of SEAT management that began when VW Group sales and marketing chief Juergen Stackmann took over as the brand's chairman last month. Former SEAT Chairman James Muir will take Offermann's current job.
