General Motors Co.’s Cadillac unit has chosen Deborah Wahl to take over as its new chief marketing officer on March 26.
Wahl succeeds Uwe Ellinghaus, who left Cadillac at the end of 2017. She formerly worked in marketing at Ford, Mazda and Toyota’s Lexus luxury brand and was chief marketing officer at Chrysler until 2008.
Wahl also was chief marketing officer for McDonald’s Corp. between 2014 and early 2017. At Cadillac, she will operate from the unit’s headquarters in New York City and report to President Johan de Nysschen.
